For me it has to be black dyes and ectos. Not the most common things, but I have had a grand total of 1 black dye and 0 (thats right, count 'em zero). I have done ToPK BP groups dozens of times and have never had the magical ecto drop for me. I have been playing since about 4 months (I think) after release, and only ever gotten 1 of these puppies. Think it was somewhere in Nightfall. Wheras my cousin got 2 in pre-sear in 2days with 1 character. Oh well....

As for rare skins.... nothing under req 10, and heaven forbid it should be 15^50

I think I have a grand total of 2 Green Drops from normal PVEing (dungeon runs and ToPK dont count)

Ecto it never drops fro me when being down in the UW and good gold weapons.

Same goes with swords. There are so many cool skins that could drop or pop out of those Luxon locked chests: Oni Blade, Jitte, Katana, Shinobi Blade, Platinum Blade, Brute Sword, Wingblade, Flamberge... All I ever get are cruddy Falchions, Gladiuses and Fiery Dragon Swords.

I do very well with Sup Vigor drops though, I have to admit.

Um you guys really want gold bo staffs? well Minister Cho's Estate on HM solo drops them hope that helps

Ive seen just about everyhing drop in game so far for me,theres almost nothing that hasnt dropped yet for me except maybe ele sword but ive never really farmed for one yet.

Greens from any Elite mission.

The number of times I've succeeded in the Deep, Warren or even ToPK and gotten nothing at the end (where other, luckier individuals score multiple rewards!) frustrates me to no end. Especially Deep and Tombs, where the mission takes considerable time to get to the end.

I've had no greens from eye of the North, and never seen an ele sword drop in all the runs it took to max ss/lb.

For me it's like this . . . you come across a collector who has something really choice to trade for X. Well damned if X never drops.

Also, I get an insane amount of what would probably be really awesome hammers drop - though I don't run a hammer warrior and have no desire to. That or stuff for classes which I don't play/don't have that type of hero (until recently it was Ritualist stuff - till I got Xandra - now it's all paragon junk).

I've gotten one black dye in two years, and that was in pre-searing on my first character which I promptly applied to a scimitar I was using on my ranger! Yeah, I know, silly me!

I've done Cathedral of Flames at least 5 times, always got a crappy Air Wand (I got it THREE times! that's not normal!!) or a, wowawawh, Gold Hammer. Murakai could give me her sword... But noooo, let's give that stupid Mesmer that kept me knocked down for 75% of time a lame caster weapon with just 15^stance inscription, so he can wand to death using Frenzy...

Got my first superior vigor rune after 26 months of play yesterday whilst vanquishing snake dance. I've never gotten a black dye.

I spent three days hunting for 3 Skull Jujus for a collector item and Never got One. I had to buy everyone of them at a k each. This is farming them with my ele and One Hero healer. I am supposed to believe that for three days the healer recieved all purple, gold, and collectable drops. All I got out of it was a pathetic few worthless blues, a slightly higher amount of whites and enough gold to buy the item from others.

But in general - I have Never had a single useful drop of a skin I would enjoy that has acceptable stats. Not in two years.

Since starting this thread, specifically citing the Guardian mosses, I've gotten 2 or 3 of them. lol

^^ Fitz, I feel your pain. Once I needed 5 Kirin horns for some off-hand from the collector just outside Unwaking Waters (Lux side). Not just any Kirin horns, but the Kirins on that map (who knew that Lux Kirins - and Onis - are different from Kurz ones?) Took me 3 or 4 days to get them.

What's your elusive drop?

Funny you mentioned Guardian Mosses. Even to date, I still haven't got my second one

The Djinn Essences are also pretty hard to get. I still haven't got my first five of any kind of Djinn essences, considering how many of those I must have killed while grinding that stupid Lightbringer points

so I can even get into a group.

This thread is actually making me feel better. I've never had real problems getting collector drops, dyes, or sup runes.

My only problem is I seldom get greens, maybe 4-5 a year from boss kills and usually ones like Foulfist's Focus, that no one wants.

same thing here never had one drop and i got nightfall the day it came out farmed those giants over and over and still none dropped im still waiting to complete that quest where you need three i think. i get greens left and right im to the point aww geez another green who can i give this away too
